Prom 2011

Prom 2011

Taken at the Park on a windy day.  The hairstyle was perfect with all this wind.

The group that went in the Limo, Dinner in Tulsa, then to Cherry Berry and they didn't make it back to the Prom until 10:30 but they all had a great time.

More Puppies

Scruffy had a heck of a time this year.  She decided to have them during our blizzard and there was no way of getting her to the vet. She had 2 pups, 1 Brindle Female but it was born dead and the other one was this Fawn Male. We decided to keep him.  This is Cody holding little Fiocco De Neva. That means Snowball in Italian.  Our foreign exchange student named him.

More Puppies

Did I mention that we had another litter of puppies.  I ended up with back to back litters.  The second litter was born on February 9th.  With the mommy being Jasper and daddy is Kazoo.  Having back to back litters kept me quite busy for 6 months and no sleep.  This litter was named after cars, which was a lot of fun.  I was sad to see the last puppy leave but then again I was very pleased to get things back to normal.

Prom 2010

Tashauna went to the prom with Tommy and a group of friends. The kids all looked great and had a wonderful time. Before they left I was able to get them all together and take a few pictures in our pasture. We got some great pictures.

New Appliance's

Our New Stove
This is also a Whirlpool.
It's a 5 burner stove and a self cleaning oven.
It has something they call Accubake so your food cooks evenly.
I might need to practice with this a bit.

This Fridge is a Whirlpool Gold.
French Doors on the top and the Freezer down below.
I like being able to open the fridge and seeing everything, there is
plenty of drawers for different items and the door will even
hold a gallon a milk.

FINALLY!!!
A New Fridge.
With one little problem...
I just had to get this big ole 36" fridge which meant the cabinets had
to be moved down so it would fit. But it was all doable.

Amber & Quinn and Cody & Scruffy

Scruffy had another litter of puppies. I had posted on Facebook that Scruffy was in labor, and my daughter in law, Amber replied right under it that she was too. So I sent a text to Jason to see if she was serious and he said yes she was. As it turned out, Amber was giving birth to my new grandson, Quinton about the same time that Scruffy started having her puppies, so I named these two puppies, Amber and Quinn. They were my favorites and they are adorable, just like the other Amber and Quinn. :)

Cody was never too close to the big dogs because he would usually get knocked down, but since Scruffy had the puppies, she spends a lot more time in the house. One day Cody stepped on Scruffy's tail and he turned around to let her know that he was sorry and she could care less. I think at that moment was when he figured out that the big dogs are pretty nice. So here he is giving Scruffy a kiss. He would lay down next to her too.

I really don't know what he's doing here, it looks like he is poking at her eyes and she could care less. Mastiffs are Gentle Giants and Cody decided to find out for himself. Cody now loves the big dogs, the puppies on the other hand, he isn't crazy about because they are a bit wild and want to play and be rowdy, I can't blame him. I love it when the puppies sleep.

Teenagers and Snow

Tashauna and Taylor. Best Friends and two girls that have fun being silly.

Tashauna had spent a few days over at Tay's house and instead of calling or texting her all the time I just go on Myspace or Facebook and see what they are up too. One morning in January I woke up and logged on and look what I found. Tashauna had uploaded these pictures around midnight, they decided to go outside in their pajamas and have a snow ball fight. Glad to see they put on their hats.

Aubrey Painting

Jenny and Rodney gave me this painting for Christmas. Rodney's dad painted it. He has been doing a lot of paintings lately and I am very blessed to get this one. I miss her but I know that she is in Gods hand and I will see her soon.

Thanksgiving 2009

We had Thanksgiving at Jenny's house this year. Alesha, Arlon and the kids came up from Dallas and Alesha and I spent all day Wednesday cooking and baking and having a great time. And on Thursday we had to load everything up and take it to Jenny's house. I guess I was a bit tired because for some reason I took the turkey out to the car, it was covered in foil and setting in the back seat but I sort of forgot to close the door before returning to the house for more food.... and then Ryan came running in the house, yelling that the dog got the turkey, I ran outside and I was so thankful for that foil... Scruffy wasn't about to pass up a opportunity on Thanksgiving Day, can you blame her??? She had grabbed that foil but all that came off was the foil and one of those turkey legs. So Ryan saved the Turkey that year and I had to admit that I was a big dummy for not closing that door. But the turkey was just fine and Scruffy enjoyed her turkey leg.

Here is the group of us at Jenny's house.
Tashauna, Arlon, Tawnda, Ray, Cody, Rodney, Clif, Ashtyn, Jenny, Alesha, Arlon, Rider, Tammy, John, Katie, Sydney, Ryan, Gavin & Christian.
It was a great Thanksgiving :)

New York City

We did just about everything in New York City. The flight there was great, flying over the city was beautiful. We could see the Statue of Liberty from the plane and the whole layout of the city, it was an incredible sight. We had our own Suite right in the middle of Times Square and we were so high up that it was so cool looking down over the city.
We ate a different type of food every time we stopped to eat. We went to Carnagie's and ate Jewish. And that was the best Pastrami Sandwich I have ever eaten, not to mention the size of it. Of all the different types of food we had I decided that Greek was my favorite and Mercadito's had the best Pork and Pineapple Tacos I have ever tasted.
And the people of New York were the nicest and most polite I have ever been around. And the cab drivers were great, hailing a cab was fun. Alesha and I always managed to get one almost as fast as our hand went up. LOL I want to go back there someday, it was great.

This picture was taken at the Statue of Liberty.

We went to Central Park, this park was huge and we walked and took the horse and carriage and we still didn't see the whole thing. This is the most beautiful park I have ever seen in my life. We spent several hours there. I am gonna have to go back just to see the rest of that park.

At the Empire State Building. We went up to the top at night, it was beautiful. And COLD!!! That wind was blowing like a tornado but I wasn't going to let that stop me from seeing every angle of the city. I was in awe.

This was taken when we got back to Dallas after our trip. Arlon and Alesha and John and I were totally exhausted, but it was worth it.
